The spiral steel pipe is mainly used in tap water project, petrochemical industry, chemical industry, electric power industry, agricultural irrigation and urban construction. It is one of the 20 key products developed in China.
Spiral steel pipe can be used in different industries. It is produced according to a certain processing and manufacturing processes and plays an important role in building construction. With the increasing of bearing pressure and the increasing harsh service premise, it is necessary to prolong the service life of the pipeline as far as possible.
The main development direction of spiral steel pipe is:
(1) Design and produce steel pipes with new structure, such as double-layer spiral welded steel pipes. It is double-layer pipes welded with strip steel, use a thickness of half of the normal pipe wall to welded together, it will has higher strength than single-layer pipes with the same thickness, but will not show brittle failure.
(2) Vigorously developing coated pipes, such as coating the inner wall of the pipe. This will not only prolong the service life of the steel pipe, but also improve the smoothness of the inner wall, reduce fluid friction resistance, reduce wax and dirt, reduce the number of cleaning, then reduce the cost of maintenance.
(3) Develop new steel grades, improve the technical level of smelting process, and widely adopt controlled rolling and post rolling waste heat treatment process, so as to continuously improve the strength, toughness and welding performance of pipe body.
The large-diameter coated steel pipe is coated with plastic on the basis of large-diameter spiral welded pipe and high-frequency welded pipe. It can be coated with PVC, PE, EPOZY and other plastic coatings of different properties according to different needs, with good adhesion and strong corrosion resistance. Strong acid, alkali and other chemical corrosion resistance, non-toxic, no corrosion, wear resistance, impact resistance, strong permeability resistance, smooth pipe surface, no adhesion to any substance, can reduce the resistance of transportation, improve the flow rate and transportation efficiency, reduce the transmission pressure loss. There is no solvent in the coating, no exudate substance, so it will not pollute the conveying medium, so as to ensure the purity and hygiene of the fluid, in the range of -40℃ to +80℃ can be used alternately hot and cold cycle, not aging, not cracking, so it can be used in the cold zone and other harsh environment. Large diameter coated steel pipe is widely used in tap water, natural gas, petroleum, chemical industry, medicine, communication, electric power, ocean and other engineering fields.
